November Newsletter

We are so excited to share the latest news with you from Esteamed Coffee! This year, we are kicking off our first-ever team fundraising competition, complete with incredible prizes. This event will go throughout the month of November - and you can start forming your teams now!
There's also been something else "cooking" for awhile - our team's first cookbook! The Cook-ability Cookbook was created by our baristas and cashiers, and the full proceeds will go back to our staff as part of their next EsTEAMers bonus. We are so proud of our team for finishing this project, and will have a special day to celebrate when we release the book on November 8th - just in time to add some new dishes to your Thanksgiving spread.
Now sit back, relax, and enjoy the Esteamed Express!

This November, we’re brewing up something brand new - The Esteamed Community Cup, our first-ever team fundraising competition! It’s a joyful showdown where friends, families, businesses, and fellow coffee lovers come together to brew opportunity for adults with disabilities all the way to Giving Tuesday.
Here’s how it works:
Teams or individuals sign up, rally their networks, and fundraise throughout the campaign. The competition is friendly -but the impact is real. Every dollar raised supports paid employment, social opportunities, confidence, and belonging for our incredible Esteamed community.
And yes, there are prizes! You didn't think we'd let you go empty handed, did you? The top team will win an exclusive Esteamed Coffee Shop Takeover, where your crew gets to step behind the counter, craft your own signature drink, and share your story with our community. And for the top individual fundraiser? How about a free drink every week for an entire year - because your dedication deserves a daily dose of celebration!
So grab your people, pick a team name (bonus points for coffee puns), and get ready to stir up some friendly rivalry. Because when our community comes together for one mission, inclusion always wins.

Our team has been hard at work on a special project for the holiday season - introducing the Cook-ability cookbook! This collaborative creation showcases two dozen favorite recipes from our staff and was brought to life entirely by our team, from project management and layout to photos, graphics, and more. Even better, 100% of proceeds from every book sold will go directly back to our employees as a shared bonus.
Earlier this summer, the team hosted a potluck to taste-test each other’s recipes - and now it’s your turn! Join
us on Saturday, November 8th for the official Cook-ability launch celebration, taking place all day long. Enjoy samples of two featured recipes (baked by our staff with the support of Once in a Blue Moon Bakery), decorate your own chef’s hat, and enter a raffle filled with cookbook-inspired prizes.
Come taste the magic that makes Cook-ability so special! Way to go, team!
At Esteamed Coffee, we “believe in possumbilities” - the small, everyday moments that represent big steps forward.
Recently, we celebrated one of those moments with our friend and longtime supporter, Will. For years, Will, who has autism, has ordered the same drink - a hot chocolate with marshmallow syrup (a classic favorite!).
But the last time Will visited us, something special happened. Will surprised our baristas, our managers, and even his mom by confidently ordering something new - our Harvest Hug, made with apple cider and oat milk.
It may seem like a small change, but for us, it was a powerful reminder of why Esteamed Coffee exists: to create a welcoming space where growth, confidence, and connection can flourish - one cup at a time.
Way to go, Will! You remind us that every new step, no matter how small, is worth celebrating.

Your donation helps Esteamed Coffee's staff and all people with disabilities have a place where belonging meets community.
